Frequently Asked Questions
Why are some game not reviewed?
There are three main reasons why a game is not reviewed. The first, and most common, is that the game is a text-based game which is written in a language other than English, most commonly Spanish or Russian. I don't feel that I can fairly review these games, but these do come complete with screenshot. The second is that I have been unable to find a working copy of the game. This may be because the company prohibits downloading of this game or that the game will not run on my system for whatever reason. The third reason is that the game is missing or was never released. This usually applies to smaller releases by individual coders who advertised in the classifieds of the magazines of the time, but it can also apply to major releases, such as Judge Dredd or The Great Giana Sisters. Games which are missing are sometimes accompanied by a screenshot if one was published at the time, but the quality of these is often poor. Every effort has been made to find a working copy of every game in the guide.

Are there any plans to review games for other systems?
The guide is a work in progress, and games which have come to light since the first edition of the guide have been included. Future versions will include games which were available as type-in listings and released after 1994, with a possibility that games from the other 8-bit systems of the time will be added. However, I have not yet decided the format that this will take, but it may happen!
